CARS Fanatic!!!

Anyone that knows Landen knows that he love, loves Disney's Cars movie. So the Disney store in the mall was doing a fun promotion for the new Cars 2 movie that just came out. Every Saturday for the month of June Landen got to go to the mall and do these fun little activities. He got his very own passport and at the end on the last Saturday of the month he received a really nice puzzle of Cars 2. One weekend his cousins Haley and Jake got to join in on the fun! And next week mommy will be taking Landen and his friend to see Cars 2!

Good Morning Breakfast!

Liam and Myles really woke up in a good mood this morning and I wanted to capture the moment, because usually one is unhappy. They both ate their oatmeal cereal with fruit and we had yogurt their favorite. After breakfast Myles showed us some of his new skills of trying to stand up without holding on to anything! By the way he has finally mastered it.

Bronx Zoo

Since daddy couldn't take time off for Landen's Birthday in May, he was able to take a few days at the end of May off and one of those days we packed lunch and took off for the day to the Bronx Zoo! By the way if you've never been to this zoo it's worth it I love this zoo! Here are some of the things we got pictures of. What kind of animal is that climbing on the rocks? Hahaha, oh my mistake that would be my goofy little boy Landen - who thoroughly enjoyed himself that he asked me everyday for almost a week after if we could go to the zoo today, what about today mommy? The babies were even good, which made the day even nicer.

Preschool & Family Party

Landen's real Birthday is May 9th which landed on a Monday this year and he had school, so he decided he wanted to take cupcakes in to celebrate his big day with the kids in his class! After school mommy, Grandma, and the babies took Landen to lunch at his favorite place - WENDY'S! Later that evening when daddy, grandpa, and uncle Todd all got off of work they came over for dinner and cupcakes too! Oh and we must not forget he got even more fun presents!

Landen's 4th Birthday was in May and we celebrated with some of his friends at Allaire State Park. Landen is obsessed with Disney's Wall-E so we had a Wall-E theme birthday party for him. (Man was is difficult for mommy to find things in Wall-E) He got lots of fun gifts and the kids got to run and play on the playground, eat good food, have Wall-E cake, and play a few Wall-E games. It was very successful considering the weather held out for us!

Falling Behind

I'm not doing so well on posting and it's making me sad when I think about it because it's my way of journaling my children's lives. I keep telling myself I'm going to be better at doing this but time is so short and sweet right now for me while my 3 little guys take alot of my time and that's okay because I'm never going to be able to replace these special times I have to spend with them before they are all grown and started families of their own.

Once again I forgot to blog and take personal pictures of the babies in their outfits - I'm so mad at myself for forgetting that one. What a special day though. My dad was able to bless Liam and Myles and Steve and his family were able to attend also so that was special. One day I hope that the boys will be grateful for this special blessing that was given to them. I love them with all my heart.

Wow I haven't been on my blog in awhile - my new name is Busy Busy Busy Mommy!!!
Our twin boys decided to enter the world on Thursday, July 29th, 2010. My sister took me for my routine checkup at the specialist, and while the doctor was doing my ultrasound I was having contractions a little to close to one another, so the doctor sent me next door to the hospital to be monitored. When my sister and I arrived they hooked me up to the monitors right away and about a half hour later I saw my regular doctor who was on call at the hospital. He told me they were not letting me go home now because my contractions were 5 to 7 minutes apart. So I called Steve to come from work and our babies came that evening. Our babies were good sizes considering I was only 34 weeks along.

Baby A - Liam Henrik Siemers 5lbs. 11oz. 18 1/2 inches born at 5:11pm
Baby B - Myles Halden Siemers 4lbs. 10oz. 19 inches born at 5:13pm

The babies were rushed off to the NICU where they stayed for a week before they got to come home. That was hard on mommy to be discharged and come home from the hospital without my babies. Myles was on CPAP for his breathing and in an incubater for most of his time there to help him keep his body tempature, and all the other monitoring they do of their hearts. Liam did very well and really was only hooked to heart monitors. They just don't like to send babies home until their 36 weeks along. I will be posting pictures soon. As soon as I figure out how to down load from my new camera and on to my new computer. Right now Steve and I are pretty much sleep deprived!

Doctor's Check-Up Time!

Okay I have to write about Landen's doctor's appointment just the other day. He is a very intelligent little boy and knew exactly where we were driving too, so he cried all the way there and covered his ears because he didn't want the doctor looking in his ears. Luckily for me I got to make the appointment while Steve was on vacation so that he could go with me and help hold him down. It was funny and sad at the sametime, and Steve and I are trying to tell him he has a big surprise at home and we can get a chocolate donut if he lets the doctor look in his ears. (Landen had tubes put in his ears a little over a year ago). His left tube is out and still waiting for the right tube to fall out. Well I never have to take Landen to the doctor's because he stays pretty healthy. So when we got into the room I found out he was due for his Hepititis A shot and they did the whole 3 year check up even though he won't be 3 for another month.
- His head measurement was in the 40th percentile which is really good considering we have been on the low end of the charts since he was a baby.
- His height was 37 1/2 inches tall, which he was in the 75th percentile. He has always been a long baby.
- His weight was 28lbs., which I was scared they were going to say something to me because I think they think I starve my kid to death (he's just not an eater and a picky one at that). So we are finally in the 30th percentile for our weight which the nurse told me they were not going to worry because he has always been on the low end of the chart for his weight since he was a baby.

Well I have to say Landen did a good job and his big surprise - A NEW CURIOUS GEORGE DVD!!! And he got the donut promised to him but he took like 2 bites and he was done with that- no wonder my kid doesn't gain any weight. Wish I had this problem!!!

We love Pluto!

Landen is scared just like his mom of dogs (thank goodness daddy is allergic to all pets) so we settled for a battery operated Pluto on a leash.

I'm a little out of order, but we can't forget Daddy and Aunt Tiff's Birthdays! Their birthdays are both in November 1 week away from each other so we always celebrate them together with Grandma Mayes's famous homemade German Chocolate Cake - by the way it's to die for! (Looking at the pictures you might think it's Landen's birthday, but he thinks it's his birthday everytime someone is having their birthday it's pretty comical).

I have to say Christmas was alot of fun this year because Landen really got into it and understands a little bit more. Now he asks me at least once a week if it's Christmas or Halloween yet! Please please oh please let some sunshine come our way now so we can go to the park and do outdoor activities. I told him after we go to the beach this summer (many times this year hopefully) it will be Christmas again. He's not very patient so now he says everyday, Mommy guess what? I saw Santa coming down the chinney (Chimney)....and I say you did!

Apologizing - But Good Excuse!

I have to apologize that I haven't done a very good job lately keeping up with my blog. But I like to say I have a good excuse for that. For those of you that don't know already it is very difficult for my husband and I to conceive, and we've always wanted a big family. So we've been doing fertility treatments for almost a year now. None of the small things worked for us this go around so we moved on to IVF (InVitro Fertilization). We finally got pregnant with triplets, but lost one in the process, so now it is definite that we are having twins. We are now in our second trimester and I hope that some of this sickness and tiredness I've been having will ease off. So there you have it, it might be a lame excuse but I haven't felt like doing a whole lot lately and still having to chase after my 2 1/2 year old isn't always easy. I promise I will try and do better and keep up with my blogging!

My husband and I have been working on this for a couple of months now to coax Landen into wearing this Yoda costume from Star Wars. Anyone who doesn't know already my husband is a huge fan of Star Wars, so of course when we first saw this costume he fell in love with it for Landen to wear. This was his first year to really go out and Trick or Treat and he got the hang of it pretty good.

Some of the fun things we did this summer was take Landen to Sesame Place in Pennsylvania about an hour away. It was so worth taking him to this Sesame Street Theme Park. He was absolutely over joyed and had so much fun there. Next year we are planning to buy season passes for two reasons - it's not that far from our house and Landen loved it!

Ducky Derby

We took the kids to the Ducky Derby at Allaire State Park today. Thank you Grandma Siemers for letting us race two ducks each and then keep them afterwards. Even though Landen, Haley, or Jake's ducks didn't win the race they still had a fun time watching them swim down the stream. They even got to ride the old railroad train there and grandma bought them each their own conductor hats for the ride! It was fun except for the terrible humidy in the air made it for a really hot day. Sorry no pictures right now my little camera broke and I forgot to grab our other camera so I'll have to wait till my sister in law sends me some pictures. Thanks again grandma!

It was so much fun having Trent and Becky come and visit. They did alot of things while they were here. We went to NYC and saw Mary Poppins on Broadway, went to a fancy resturant over on Park Ave. called Houston's (they serve the best ribs you will ever eat by the way) so if anyone ever wants to come visit we take everyone there. They went to the beach, fishing, farmers market, lots of outlet shopping, mall shopping, Bronx Zoo, etc. The list could have gone on if they would have stayed longer. We enjoyed them though, and hope they come back out and visit in the fall!

Uncle Trent, Aunt Becky, and Cousin Brooklyn came out to New Jersey to visit for a week and have some fun with us. We took the kids to the Bronx Zoo in NY and was very fun, except for when the weather decided to pouring rain on us. Here are a few pictures I didn't get to take to many because of the rain.

We made it to the top and looked out, actually Landen was making me very nervous, even though he can't fit thru the bars - you can say, I'm just a little scared of heights!

We took a little family trip two weekends ago and went down to see the Barnaget Lighthouse. (We have to take advantage of daddy's time off because we don't see him a whole lot.) This lighthouse house is about 45 minutes south of our house and it's fun to go down to the beach and just hang out. So we pack a little light lunch and some snacks and headed out for the day. It was a very fun and relaxing day.

About 4 months back we took Landen to see Sesame Street Live!!! We actually ended up going twice because he loved it so much and we took Grandma Siemers with us once, and then Grandpa and Grandma Mayes with us the second go around. He loves nothing more than his good old pals on sesame street. He was good thru the entire preformance - and focused! Gotta Love it!

I tried to be a little talented and make this Barney cake from a cake mold. It didn't turn out to bad since it was my first time experience. We just had a little party a few days before his birthday and celebrated at home. Landen was so excited for the Barney cake, but was a little nervous to eat it - but once we got him to try it he loved it! Now he wants cake all the time and he thinks it's his birthday everyday!

Pearl Harbor Memorial - a very awesome experience to go there!

Our cruise ship, we had a very nice suite right above the captains deck. Beautiful scenery at night. We even saw a volcano erupting into the ocean.

Steve and I horse backriding! That was Steve's first time on a horse - I've been around horses my whole life. I guess it's a good thing Steve's horse didn't try to lay down on the path and buck him off, like mine tried to attempt. The horse did lay down on top of my leg, thank goodness it wasn't broken - because this was only our second day into our honeymoon!

We went on a Hawaii Cruise that took us to all the islands of Hawaii. It was so beautiful there, I couldn't get enough of it. Even though I was sea sick on the ship at night, it was well worth the trip. We got to experience so many different and beautiful scenes. One of the lighthouses on Honolulu.
